Randall Lee Schieber is a commercial photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. He has been shooting professionally for almost twenty years. He specializes in editorial, architectural, location, and travel photography. His stock photography includes: travel images from throughout the United States, broad coverage of the Midwest, an extensive collection of Ohio and its major landmarks, and major cities including Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. His landscape, scenic, and nature photography, including Columbus skylines, fireworks, Ohio State Parks and gardens can be found in numerous publications. His editorial photography covers a wide range of assignments and organizations, festivals and special events. Randall works in a variety of formats, using 35mm for most editorial work, and large format for better clarity and definition in landscape and nature photography. He also now uses digital photography for some assignment work.

Randall was born in Findlay, Ohio. His early childhood was spent in Mexico City, where he learned to speak Spanish and developed an interest in travel. He has traveled widely throughout the United States and Mexico. He studied photography and art, first in Tucson, Arizona and later at The Ohio State University. He earned a B. A. degree from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.

His work has been sold to numerous corporate clients including over 100 framed images that are exclusively displayed in the Sears Distribution Center. McDonald’s have purchased theme images to display in several of their restaurants and several medical facilities in Cleveland have also purchased many of his Ohio scenic images. His Ohio Images have been purchased by Governor Taft and are hanging in his office at the Statehouse.

Randall has been published in numerous calendars on Columbus and is featured every year exclusively in the Ohio Scenic Calendar. He currently has two books out on Ohio that showcase his work, Ohio Simply Beautiful, and Ohio Impressions. His work has appeared in many national and local publications, including magazines, newspapers, posters, postcards and books. Some of his clients include Ohio Magazine, Midwest Living, State of Ohio Travel and Tourism, Ruscilli Construction Co. Inc., McDonald’s Corporation, Lucent Technologies and Ameritech.
